Opera Mini is a very popular mobile web browser because of its fast speed and small size. It is particularly designed for mobile phones. The version 4.2.1 gives users the freedom to use it on other devices, such as tablets and computers. This is not the application's default behavior, so you need to download and install it separately.
After installing, you should open Opera Mini. The first time you run it, it lets you set up the application. You can use your Opera account or create a new one. You can also opt for an additional feature, which will help you save web pages to your Opera Mini account. This is a great option if you use Opera Mini on multiple devices.
The main interface of the application is pretty simple and neat. You see a list of bookmarks and a tab bar below. The tab bar lets you switch between the pages you have opened. To switch to the page you want to open, you can either double-click on it or click on the "open" button.
If you want the browser to load the page as fast as possible, you can use Opera Mini's Turbo mode. To do so, click on the "T" icon, which is located on the right side of the title bar. This will switch the browser to Turbo mode. When you leave the page, it will switch itself back to normal mode.
The Opera Mini version 4.2.1 also features a new "Speed Dial" feature. It is located at the bottom of the Opera Mini interface, and it is a list of favorite sites. To add a new site, you should click on the "plus" icon, which is located on the right side of the Speed Dial list.
There is also a new "Save to Speed Dial" feature that lets you pin a page to the Speed Dial list. You can use this feature by clicking on the picture of a star located at the bottom of the page's interface.
